After a challenging few years, community colleges celebrated a comeback in 2024 with notable gains in enrollment, retention, and persistence rates. Enrollment has increased by over 4 percent, freshman enrollment is up over 6 percent, and dual enrollment continues to grow (National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, 2024).
