League Announces Expanded Slate of AI Academy Programs for 2026-2027

The League for Innovation announces an expanded lineup of professional development opportunities through its AI Academy, introducing several new programs designed to help community and technical college professionals apply artificial intelligence in practical, mission-driven ways.
New offerings include AI Learning Design Workshops, which help faculty and instructional designers create engaging, AI-enhanced learning experiences, and AI in Marketing Workshops, which explore the effective use of AI to strengthen communications, branding, enrollment marketing, and content development. The Academy has also launched the AI Faculty Fellows program, providing faculty with a collaborative, cohort-based experience focused on integrating AI into teaching, learning, and student engagement.
For institutional leaders, the new AI Task Force Accelerator supports campus teams in developing actionable AI strategies, governance structures, and implementation plans that align with institutional priorities. The Academy has also introduced two new professional certifications: AI Ethics Professional, which prepares participants to address the ethical, legal, and policy implications of AI, and Certified Change & Transformational Leader, designed for professionals leading organizational change in an era of rapid technological advancement.
In addition to these new programs, registration is now open for new cohorts of the League AI Fellows Program, the Academy's flagship professional development experience. Through expert guidance, peer collaboration, and applied project work, Fellows develop practical AI initiatives that advance teaching and learning, student success, operational effectiveness, and institutional innovation.
Together, these new offerings expand the AI Academy's portfolio of high-impact professional development, providing community college professionals with multiple pathways to build AI knowledge, develop leadership capacity, and implement meaningful change on their campuses.
