Vice President of Student Learning & Success / Provost

What We’re Looking For:
The Vice President of Student Learning & Success / Provost provides strategic leadership to advance student learning, success, and access across the College, serving as the chief academic and student success officer. This role ensures excellence in instructional programs, faculty engagement, and student support services, aligning these areas with RCC’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality education that meets the needs of diverse learners and the broader community. A champion for innovation in teaching and learning, the VP/Provost fosters inclusive practices, expands access to educational and workforce pathways and leads initiatives that improve student retention, completion, and career success. Collaborating with the President, Executive Team, and institutional stakeholders, the VP/Provost drives strategies that support transfer education, career and technical programs, and lifelong learning—positioning RCC as a leader in student achievement, workforce development, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in academic affairs, student services, and workforce development.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance curriculum, teaching excellence, and student engagement.
Champion innovative practices that improve student retention, completion, and career success.
Develop partnerships with K-12 schools, universities, and industry leaders.
Oversee compliance with accreditation and federal and state regulations.
Represent RCC at regional and state academic leadership groups.
Minium Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, or a closely related field (Doctoral Degree preferred).
-Minimum of eight years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, with expertise in academic administration, student success initiatives, and faculty development.
-Proven ability to develop strategic initiatives, secure funding, and manage institutional change.
-Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
-Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
