Welcome, Innovations presenters! The 24th annual Innovations Conference incorporates ideas and initiatives from four conference tracks into the broader goal of encouraging and facilitating student and organizational learning through innovation, experimentation, and institutional transformation. Your participation at this virtual event represents your dedication to the future of education.

Presenter Agreement

All presenters must respond to the Presenter Agreement email by February 11* to

  1. Confirm their intention to present their session(s) listed in the draft program at the 2022 virtual Innovations Conference;
  2. Submit their prerecorded sessions (if appropriate) by February 1;
  3. Register for the conference;
  4. Pay for registration according to the payment, refund, and cancellation policy;
  5. Inform the League in writing of any session corrections, presenter changes, or if you are no longer able to present by February 11; and
  6. Affirm that they (1) own or otherwise have the right to use the content presented, and (2) have the right to give the League consent to publish the presentation.

*Failure to meet this deadline will result in session(s) being removed from the schedule.

If you are presenting a prerecorded session, the video file is due to Joe Kline no later than February 1. If you need technical assistance with your video, contact Joe Kline.

Prerecorded Video File Requirements

  • File types: .MP4, .MOV, .WMV, .FLV
  • File size: <100 GB
  • Title character limit: 60 (including spaces)

Conference Registration

All presenters are required to register for the conference and pay the registration fee. Neither honoraria nor expenses are provided to presenters. Registration includes access to the live event February 28 - March 3, 2022, as well as to on-demand content for 90 days after the conference.

Individual registrants from League Board and Alliance colleges receive a $100 registration discount. Furthermore, the League is now offering a special group registration discount of 20% for member colleges that register at least five (5) participants from the same institution in a single transaction. By registering a group in this way, your institution receives one (1) free registration for every five (5) participants.

Paying for Registration

Credit Card: Please have the correct credit card billing address available if you plan to use a credit card to pay for event registration. When you register and pay by credit card, you will receive an email invoice that serves as your receipt.

Check or Purchase Order: If you select the “Pay by Check or Purchase Order” option, you will receive an email invoice that can be forwarded to your college’s business office for payment.

Registration must be paid in full* by January 28, 2022. Registration after January 28, 2022, requires full payment by credit card or purchase order.

*If mailed, check must be postmarked no later than January 28, 2022.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds minus a $100 cancellation fee will be issued after the Innovations Conference for cancellations received in writing (e.g., email, post) by January 28, 2022. Conference registration fees for cancellations received after January 28, 2022, will not be refunded; however, access to the live event and on-demand content will be available.

Conference Schedule

The 2022 Innovations Conference will take place over four days starting at 9:00 AM on Monday, February 28, and ending at 4:15 PM on Thursday, March 3. The schedule provides a big picture view of all activities taking place at the conference.
