Erica Reed
Biography:
Erica Reed is currently the Director of Learning and Organizational Development at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has been at CNM for about 20 years, serving as a faculty member, department chair, faculty coordinator of CNM?s Cooperative for Teaching and Learning, and Director of Faculty Learning and Development. She was awarded a CNM Distinguished Faculty honor in 2016-2017. During her time working in Faculty Development, she led the creation of two annual faculty professional conferences and a structured, comprehensive Framework for Quality Education that is comprised of a series of courses on teaching, a peer coaching model, faculty learning circles, and various pathways for faculty learning.
In her current role, she oversees Employee Training, a new contributions-based performance management process, leadership development initiatives, employee engagement, and change management efforts within the college.
Before entering higher education, Erica was a special education teacher, reading specialist, Peace Corps volunteer, teacher of ESL, instructional coach, and teacher trainer. Erica is proud to be a career-long educator and professional committed to helping others develop into their potential.
