Keri Roeller

 

Biography:
Keri Roeller is a seasoned higher education leader with nearly two decades of experience advancing student access, retention, and success within MinnState's post-secondary system. Her career reflects a deep commitment to helping students make confident academic and career decisions through personalized support, data-informed programming, and mission-driven collaboration. Keri currently serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Century College, where she oversees institution-wide recruitment events, manages high-impact group visit experiences, and leads the processing and evaluation of specialized applications. Her work requires strong technical proficiency, cross-department coordination, and a deep understanding of academic pathways, degree audits, and program prerequisites to ensure a smooth and supportive admissions experience for students. Prior to her role at Century College, Keri was part of the team responsible for implementing a $3 million federal Title III Strengthening Institutions grant at Saint Paul College. In this capacity, she contributed to multiple retention and student success initiatives, including culturally grounded programming for American Indian students, the Four Directions Pathway partnership, and the iLEAD program supporting BIPOC male learners. She also supported mentoring collaborations with the University of Minnesota and assisted with data reporting, continuous improvement processes, and coordination aligned with state human resources policies and labor contracts. Earlier in her career, Keri held roles in advising, retention coordination, financial aid counseling, admissions, and academic support across institutions including Metropolitan State University, Saint Paul College, Anoka Technical College, and Southwest Minnesota State University. Her experience spans student services operations, large?scale orientation development, persistence tracking, strengths and career assessments, grant management, and leading innovative solutions to remove barriers for underrepresented and first-generation students. A skilled communicator and relationship builder, Keri specializes in delivering exceptional student service, designing equitable support structures, and fostering inclusive environments. Keri holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Career Counseling and Development from Metropolitan State University. Her professional passion centers on guiding students toward discovering their strengths, exploring their goals, and achieving success in college and beyond.
