Biography:
I am a nursing professor with a strong passion for innovation in nursing education. As an early adopter of simulation, AI integration, and emerging educational technologies, I am equally committed to case-based learning, interactive classrooms, and active learning strategies that engage students and promote clinical reasoning. My teaching approach centers on creating inclusive, supportive learning environments where students actively participate, think critically, and build confidence in their decision-making skills. I am an National League for Nursing Simulation Leadership Fellow and hold Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) credentials. My scholarly and educational work focuses on integrating simulation, case studies, and technology-enhanced learning to support novice nursing students and faculty development. I am the author of an Open Educational Resource (OER) nursing textbook and companion lab manual, reflecting my commitment to accessible, evidence-based, and learner-centered education that advances equity, engagement, and excellence in nursing education.
