Biography:
Millie Rodriguez is a seasoned higher education leader with over 25 years of experience in academic operations, online learning, and strategic innovation. She currently serves as Dean of the Virtual Campus at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), where she leads institution-wide efforts in digital learning, faculty development, and the integration of emerging technologies, including Generative AI. Millie is recognized for building collaborative, learner-centered solutions that enhance access, engagement, and student success. Her leadership has driven major initiatives such as the development of CCAC?s college-wide AI framework, the launch of a one-stop enrollment services model at California University of Pennsylvania, and the opening of a state-of-the-art Digital Studio in CCAC?s Center for Teaching and Learning?empowering faculty to create high-quality, multimedia-rich instructional content. Her work consistently bridges instructional excellence with operational efficiency, grounded in a student-first philosophy. Millie holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, with her doctoral research focused on the integration of AI in teaching and learning. She is deeply committed to advancing equity, innovation, and academic quality in higher education.
