System Engineer/Global Operations Analyst
? Designed, developed, tested, documented, released, and project managed operational tools for identified trouble areas that would assist the Alcatel-Lucent International Technical Emergency Center for network issue isolation and fast return to service.
? Managed multiple parallel tools projects and created an agile release process around all operational tools. Led the team to define and execute a lightweight process with successful process adaptation within the first six (6) months and earned the CTO backing of 6 offshore resources.
? Managed cross regional teams in Morocco, France, Russia, and China with successful delivery of over ten (10) new tools.
? Led the global tools steering board communicating with cross-regional teams to identify areas needing improvement, to provide tools development status, to introduce new products with demonstrations and training, and to supervise and prevent tool overlap in international silos.

? As the performance server SME, I provided customer demos (Vodafone Germany) and employee (Nortel South American team) training for the solution.
? Approved all test plans pertaining to subject matter expert area.

? Led team for fast feature churn items to be produced outside of development stream.
? Completed development during very demanding schedules.

? Performed Co-op position for the spring and summer semesters, which turned into an offer for a full-time position.
? Developed the user interface for monitoring a variety of optical network elements via an OPC (optical controller) in both SONET and SDH technology.
? Designed and implemented the connection management provisioning interface for the Automatically Switched Transport Network (ASTN) for optical networks.
? Managed the project for the first and second releases and evolved the solution into the next generation architecture.
? Received award of Excellence for ASTN Project Management and SmartOS Connection Query Design.
