Celebration of Learning
Monroe Community College’s Celebration of Learning builds on the excitement and passion for learning generated by Scholars’ Day, creating a welcoming space where all students, regardless of academic background, can share their work and ideas. Inspired by the traditional science fair, this event allows students the freedom to present their projects in any way that feels most authentic to them, whether that’s through a poster, PowerPoint presentation, artwork, essay, or prototype. The event is not a competition; it is a supportive environment where students can build confidence, connect with others, and express their unique voices. Celebration of Learning offers fellow students, administrators, faculty, and staff the opportunity to engage with the range of ideas, creativity, and learning taking place across the college. This event has grown from 35 student participants in 2023 to over 75 student participants in 2024, and we anticipate approximately 150 to be involved in 2025.
