Inclusive Excellence in Curriculum: Recognizing Faculty Fellows

Formed in spring 2021, the Faculty Fellows team was charged with conceptualizing and implementing inclusive excellence and anti-racist practices within Academic Affairs. Since its inception, the team has connected with over 33 programs and more than 100 faculty members to revise curricula to be more culturally inclusive and responsive. Through this process, the team has also identified, developed, or co-sponsored DEI-related professional development opportunities to bring awareness to and empower faculty and staff. To date, they have engaged over 500 faculty through various workshops, speakers, and other learning opportunities. The Faculty Fellows have played a central role in advancing a college culture and environment that will benefit all students.
