A Culturally Responsive Approach to Engaging Gen Z
This interactive session will highlight culturally responsive teaching strategies and the characteristics of Generation Z students. Research shows that post-millennials, known as Gen Z, are the most racially and ethnically diverse generation. This session will empower higher education practitioners to shift from a fixed to a growth mindset when working with post-millennials. Plus, The Voices in the Room, an original Dallas College documentary, will be featured.

Seeking practical recommendations for its housing crisis, Coconino Community College, Page Campus, recently took advantage of an opportunity sponsored by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Arizona and ULI Terwilliger Center for Housing that engaged community partners in a Housing Development Roundtable. Learn how this roundtable came about and the resulting impact it is having on plans for affordable housing for students and employees at CCC-Page.
