Welcome to Innovatus, the magazine of the League for Innovation in the Community College!
Founded in 1968, the League has spent the last 50 years cultivating innovation in the community college environment with influential, resourceful, and dynamic member colleges and partners. During these years, the League’s projects, events, publications, and partnerships have facilitated and promoted ground-breaking efforts and encouraged community college risk-taking on an international scale.
Innovatus offers yet another venue for connecting innovators and showcasing the innovation for which the League is recognized. With a focus on teaching and learning, leadership, student success, and workforce development, each issue will provide new ideas for community college administrators, faculty, and staff. Readers are encouraged to use this publication as a resource to enhance innovation at their institutions and in their communities.
