Expo & Sponsors

Don't miss the opportunity to exhibit at the premier conference for professionals dedicated to improving organizational teaching and learning, and discovering new approaches for enhancing the community college experience.

The Innovations conference provides League Corporate Partners with direct access to nearly 2,000 higher education faculty and administrators, government officials, and community and business leaders from around the world.

The Exhibition Hall provides:

  • A single venue to network with community college and industry leaders
  • A place to meet face-to-face with qualified buyers and generate leads
  • An opportunity to showcase products and services and launch new wares
  • Several special events taking place in the Exhibition Hall will generate high traffic volume, including two Receptions, Coffee Breaks, Refreshment Breaks, and a Brunch.

Exhibition Hall hours are indicated on the Innovations conference schedule.

Exhibitors are also encouraged to consider available sponsorship and advertising opportunities and to submit proposals to present.

Please note: Exhibition space is a benefit reserved for League Corporate Partners and Member Colleges. Contact Chris Hennessey at 480.705.8200, x237, for additional information.

Make the Most of Your Exhibition Experience at Innovations 2016!

Peer-to-peer selling is a formula that works well at League conferences. Present a session during which a community college representative discusses your product or service.

Choose the most effective exhibit booth that meets your marketing needs and budgetary requirements.

Make sure team members assigned to your booth are well trained to represent your company, generate leads, and secure sales. Make sure everyone involved fully understands what needs to be accomplished during the conference.

Consider sending direct mail to conference participants using the pre-conference list. Invite participants to your presentation and to your exhibition booth.

If you would like to obtain participant’s email addresses during the conference, rent a lead retrieval scanner from our AV contractor, AV Images, by emailing wjt@avimages.com or by calling 800.801.1500. Currently, only Platinum-level League Corporate Partners have access to participant emails.

Participate in our Passport program and ask conference participants to allow you to scan their badge or give you a business card. Request that participants listen to a short “pitch” before you stamp their Passport.

Create energy in your booth to increase traffic by giving away a high-end prize (MP3, mini laptop, digital camera, etc.). Select promotional products and giveaways that complement your company image.

Host a reception for current and potential customers. Hand out invitations at your booth or invite participants using direct mail and the pre-conference participant list. There is no cost for ancillary meeting space for League Corporate Partners. Set-up fees (if required), catering, and AV fees are the Corporate Partner’s responsibility. Ancillary meeting space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Use online and social marketing opportunities such as webinars, blogs, online videos, Twitter, and Facebook to complement traditional marketing methods before, during, and after the conference.

Send a personalized handwritten note, along with a customized company information packet or other appropriate material to booth visitors within a week following the conference to help turn leads into sales.

Please note: Exhibition space is a benefit reserved for League Corporate Partners and Member Colleges. Contact Chris Hennessey at 480.705.8200, x237, for details about exhibiting, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities.

How are booth assignments made?

Booth selection is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis within partnership levels, with Platinum Corporate Partners receiving first priority, followed by Gold Corporate Partners and, lastly, Silver Corporate Partners. Adjustments to the floor plan may be made at the discretion of the League.

Badge checkers for the Exhibition Hall are stationed at the front doors during Exhibition Hall hours. This level of security is intended to control the access of people and material to and from the Exhibition Hall in a safe and organized manner. It is not intended as individual security for your booth and materials. Please remember that the hotel is a public building to which hundreds of individuals have access. Do not leave items of value in your booth overnight, during the load-in and load-out periods, or on exhibition days without taking security precautions. Exhibitors can order overnight booth security from the security vendor.

John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards

John E. and Suanne D. Roueche, leaders in the community college field and early proponents of the idea that teachers have major responsibility for how well students perform in the classroom, have been partners and friends of the League for Innovation in the Community College for over thirty-five years. What began as a working relationship with the founders of the League has evolved into a full-fledged partnership through collaborative efforts on projects of mutual interest and national concern.

In recognition of the long tradition of excellence in community college teaching and leadership, the League established the John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards in 2012. These annual awards are open to League Alliance member institutions to celebrate outstanding contributions and leadership by community college faculty and staff. Recipients are recognized in a series of activities and promotions, and honored at special events at the League's Innovations conference each spring.

John E. Roueche & Terry O’Banion International Leadership Award

The John E. Roueche & Terry O’Banion International Leadership Award, also established in 2012, is presented to outstanding individuals whose accomplishments and professional contributions to higher education and the community college field are recognized as motivational, inspirational, and transformational.
