College Researcher Badging Program

The College Researcher Badging Program solves several problems common in community college information literacy instruction programs by allowing Monroe Community College to reach more students, track information literacy student outcomes, and make learning outcomes visible to students. The program also allows the college to continue to support information literacy learning outcomes in the current online and remote environment necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The College Researcher Badging Program won the 2021 Community and Junior College Libraries Section (CJCLS) EBSCO Community College Learning Resources Program Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in community college programming, and is given out to only one recipient nationally each year.
