League Excellence Award Recipient Recognition

Medallions and Certificates

Each 2026-2027 League Excellence Award recipient will receive a specially cast pewter medallion, an Excellence Award certificate and digital badge, and a copy of the League Awards Program (see below). Award recipients who attend the 2027 Innovations Conference will receive their medallion and awards program on site. All certificates and remaining medallions and programs will be mailed to the president or chancellor of each participating college for distribution after the conference.

Innovations Conference Events

Each year's Excellence Award recipients will be recognized at the following Innovations Conference. (Please note: Neither honoraria nor expenses are provided to award recipients.) Recipients who attend this event:

  • Pick up their Excellence Award medallions when they check in onsite.
  • Are celebrated and recognized as League awardees throughout the conference. (More information coming soon!)

Congratulatory Ads

Participating colleges and systems are encouraged to submit an ad for the League Awards Program to highlight and congratulate award recipients. Submissions may include photos of recipients and/or a special congratulatory message. Ads for 2025-2026 Innovation of the Year Award winners and 2026-2027 Excellence Award recipients may be purchased through December 1, 2026.

*The League Awards Program will recognize 2026-2027 Excellence Award recipients and 2025-2026 Innovation of the Year Award recipients, and ads may be purchased for each award. Alternatively, a college may purchase a single ad to recognize both its Excellence Award and Innovation of the Year Award recipients.
