Theatre Partnership for Young Audiences

Theatre Partnership for Young Audiences is a regional cross-institutional collaboration designed to strengthen theatre education through shared resources, mentorship, and experiential learning. By linking a community college (Middlesex Community College), a professional regional theatre (Merrimack Repertory Theatre), and a public university (University of Massachusetts Lowell), the partnership creates sustainable pathways that support student success and workforce development in the arts. Key accomplishments include the development and production of Theatre for Young Audiences; hands-on student participation in performance, storytelling, and audience engagement; the establishment of student internship opportunities; and exposure to multiple career pathways in theatre, including performance, education, design, and arts administration.
