Licking, Knox, and Coshocton Promise Programs
Central Ohio Technical College’s (COTC) Promise programs guarantee that tuition will be entirely covered by institutional, federal, and state aid as well as private scholarships for eligible students living in the college’s service area of Licking, Knox, and Coshocton counties. New, continuing, and returning students are eligible if they (1) are current residents of Licking, Coshocton, or Knox county for at least one year; (2) have an annual household income of $100,000 or less reported on the FAFSA; (3) do not already have an associate or bachelor’s degree; (4) enroll in at least one credit hour in a federal aid-eligible certificate or degree program at COTC; and (5) meet the standards for satisfactory academic progress (applicable to current and returning students only). There is no lifetime dollar limit to Promise awards, and students may take classes at any COTC campus or online. Students who complete the FAFSA by the priority filing date each year and have been admitted to COTC are automatically considered for these programs.
