Pins and Certificates
Each 2023-2024 League Innovation of the Year Award recipient will receive a commemorative pin, an Innovation of the Year Award certificate, and a copy of the League Awards Program (see below). Award recipients who attend the 2025 Innovations Conference will receive their pin and awards program on site. All certificates and remaining pins and programs will be mailed to the president or chancellor of each participating college for distribution in mid-April.
Innovations Conference Events
Each year's Innovation of the Year Award recipients will be recognized at the following Innovations Conference. For instance, 2023-2024 recipients will be honored at the 2025 Innovations Conference. (Please note: Neither honoraria nor expenses are provided to award recipients.) Recipients who attend this event:
- Pick up their Innovation of the Year Award lapel pins when they check in onsite.
- Are invited to an exclusive League Awards reception to celebrate their efforts.
- Wear their lapel pins to the Closing General Session and League Awards Celebration in order to receive a copy of the League Awards Program. At this session, all 2023-2024 Innovation of the Year Award and 2024-2025 Excellence Award recipients will be asked to stand for recognition.
Congratulatory Ads
Innovation of the Year Award contacts will receive instructions for how to submit via email.
Participating colleges and systems are encouraged to submit an ad for the League Awards Program. The ads highlight and congratulate Innovation of the Year Award recipients and bring attention to your institution. Submissions may include photos of recipients and/or a special congratulatory message. Ads for 2023-2024 award winners may be purchased September 16-December 1, 2024.

League Website and Publications
The League features Innovation of the Year Award winners on its website. In addition, winning team members for each Innovation of the Year will be invited to submit manuscripts to League publications and proposals for the 2025 Innovations Conference. (Neither honoraria nor expenses are provided; selection criteria apply.)
