Medallions and Certificates
Each 2024-2025 League Excellence Award recipient will receive a specially cast pewter medallion, an Excellence Award certificate, and a copy of the League Awards Program (see below). Award recipients who attend the 2025 Innovations Conference will receive their medallion and awards program on site. All certificates and remaining medallions and programs will be mailed to the president or chancellor of each participating college for distribution after the conference.
Innovations Conference Events
Each year's Excellence Award recipients will be recognized at the following Innovations Conference. For instance, 2024-2025 recipients will be honored at the 2025 Innovations Conference. (Please note: Neither honoraria nor expenses are provided to award recipients.) Recipients who attend this event:
- Pick up their Excellence Award medallions when they check in onsite.
- Are invited to an exclusive League Awards reception to celebrate their efforts.
- Wear their medallions to the Closing General Session and League Awards Celebration in order to receive a copy of the League Awards Program. At this session, all 2024-2025 Excellence Award and 2023-2024 Innovation of the Year Award recipients will be asked to stand for recognition.
Congratulatory Ads
All 2024-2025 Excellence Award and 2023-2024 Innovation of the Year recipients* will be featured in the next League Awards Program. Participating colleges and systems are encouraged to submit an ad for this annual program. The purpose of the ads is to highlight and congratulate Excellence Award and/or Innovation of the Year Award recipients from your college. Submissions may include photos of recipients and/or a special congratulatory message. Ads will open in September and may be purchased September 16-December 2, 2024.
*The League Awards Program will recognize 2024-2025 Excellence Award recipients and 2023-2024 Innovation of the Year Award recipients, and ads may be purchased for each award. Alternatively, a college may purchase a single ad to recognize both its Excellence Award and Innovation of the Year Award recipients.
