The world of noncredit is expansive and often not well understood, for students and practitioners alike. This webinar will share recent work out of the Rutgers Education and Employment Research Center that explores the structure and context of noncredit workforce programs, potential markers of quality, and the experiences of students in these programs.

This session is for faculty and administrators who want to understand more about the fast-growing, yet underresearched world of noncredit workforce education. The webinar will explore questions like: What is driving colleges' decisions about noncredit programming and delivery? Who is participating in these noncredit programs? What sets a quality noncredit program apart from the crowd?

Presenters: Dr. Michelle Van Noy, Director, Rutgers Education and Employment Research Center; Katherine Hughes, Principal Researcher, American Institutes for Research; Daniel Douglas, Research, Rutgers Education and Employment Research Center; panelists from college partners including Mt. San Antonio College, Northern Virginia Community College, La Guardia Community College, and Harper College
