Adrienne serves as the Associate Dean of Learning Communities at De Anza College where she oversees many of our culturally based learning communities, our Learning in Communities program (LinC), the Pride Center, and the Student Success and Retention Centers. In this role she provides administrative support to these programs, while also assisting with the development and coordination of the College's equity initiatives and plans as part of the Equity and Engagement division. Adrienne's career interests in higher education have a particular lens on institutional access, retention, and administration, with a longstanding and personal interest in helping students that are typically under-served and underrepresented in the college landscape. She strives to maintain a philosophical commitment to ensuring the work she engages in cultivates power and agency in disadvantaged communities.
