I hold a BA in Interior Design from Kent State University, an MSD in Design from Arizona State University, and a Certificate in Sustainability from the Boston Architectural College. I began teaching online as an adjunct instructor for MCC?s Interior Design program in 2013 and transitioned to SCC in fall 2020. Since 2023, I have taught full-time in the Architectural Technology Program. I consider it a privilege to help students develop valuable drafting and design skills. As an instructor, I prioritize keeping students current with emerging technologies and innovations?such as virtual reality, 3D printing, and BIM?to prepare them for an ever-evolving workforce. Before entering academia, I worked as a draftsman, graphic designer, and design coordinator for environmental design firms. These professional experiences continue to inform and shape my teaching philosophy.
