Tara Williamson, biology technical specialist at Anne Arundel Community College, is recognized for her innovation, inclusivity, student engagement, and collaborative leadership. Based on the Arnold campus, she supports instructional classrooms and laboratories, ensuring streamlined operations and well-prepared learning environments for multiple biology courses. Over the past four years, she has played a pivotal role in developing new course materials and working closely with faculty and Disability Support Services (DSS) to ensure students with disabilities are fully integrated into the laboratory environment. Her dedication to the student experience and embodiment of AACC?s values makes her a deserving recipient of the League Excellence Staff Award.
