I have been serving as the Director of Research and Analytical Services at South Texas College for 13 years. With a team of eight researchers and analysts, we provide data, reports and visualizations to inform institutional strategies and directions. I am the keyholder for federal IPEDS reporting and lead the data management and integrity projects. I have represented the college at state level (Metrics Task Force, Developmental Education Initiative Team) and regional (Data Support Council for RGV Focus) groups. I have been the data lead for all college initiatives/projects (Achieving the Dream, Completion by Design, Voluntary Framework of Accountability, Texas Completes, New Mathways Project, Texas Pathways Institutes). I have taught Statistics as an adjunct at South Texas College. Prior to Institutional Research, I have taught Operations Management, Statistics, Strategic Management and Computer Information Systems courses and conducted academic research with graduate faculty, presented findings at management and operation management conferences, and published articles in journals. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and two Master?s degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Information Technology.
