Rhonda Barrett
Biography:
Rhonda Barrett is Residential Faculty at Phoenix College's Reading and English Department. With 20 years of experience in education, Rhonda has worked in various roles across a range of educational levels, from early childhood to higher education. Her time in both instructional and administrative positions has given her valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of teaching.
Having spent significant time in high-poverty classrooms and Title 1 schools. Rhonda is passionate about supporting all students, particularly those facing difficulties. She believes in the transformative power of education and is dedicated to helping students succeed.
With four degrees and a background in education, communication, and literacy, Currently, at Phoenix College, she is deeply committed to promoting education and making a positive impact in the lives of her students.
She is currently engaged in research that explores how to engage the Whole Brain Thinking in college-level composition courses. The aim is to find connections that help students feel comfortable and embrace the learning process to master college level writing skills.
