Nicole Bradley
Biography:
Dr. Nicole E. Bradley (Behrens) is a distinguished research scientist, educator, and biotechnology leader with over a decade of experience in microbiology, immunology, virology, pathology, and clinical coordination. She holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Pathobiology from the University of California, Davis, where she investigated immune modulation in response to viral vaccines.
Currently serving as the Program Director for Biotechnology at San Jacinto College, Dr. Bradley is spearheading the development of a new biomanufacturing program, overseeing curriculum design, laboratory space development, and equipment procurement. Prior to this role, she taught anatomy and physiology at San Jacinto College, contributing to the standardization of course materials and online learning initiatives.
Dr. Bradley's extensive research experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist at Rejenevie Therapeutics, where she evaluated stem cells and cellular products for regenerative medicine applications. She also worked as a Quality Control Analyst III at Lonza Biologics, ensuring the quality and compliance of cell therapy products through advanced immunological assays and flow cytometry.
Her postdoctoral research focused on viral and immunological aspects of aging in HIV-infected individuals, where she played a critical role in patient recruitment, clinical coordination, and laboratory management. Additionally, she has conducted infectious disease research, particularly on Trypanosoma cruzi transmission in the southwestern U.S. and immune responses to fungal and bacterial pathogens.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bradley has demonstrated excellence in laboratory management, biosafety (BSL-3 certified), clinical coordination, and emergency response planning. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, presented at numerous scientific conferences, and earned several prestigious awards for her research contributions.
