Amber Kreischer
Biography:
Dr. Amber Kreischer's professional life centers around young children and the people who interact with them. Amber is currently a Program Coordinator for a program called Avance to College which serves Spanish-speaking parents who have limited income. The program is multi-generational, expanding learning opportunities for the parents and their young children. Amber also teaches in the Child Care and Development department, with topics such as Math and Science in Early Childhood, Child Growth and Development, and Wellness of the Young Child.
Amber has worked directly with young children as a preschool teacher and teacher's aide in a variety of types of early childhood settings. She adores young children and the curiosity and humor that they bring to the world.
Amber also enjoys working with adults who work with young children - early childhood teachers, parents, and people who are seeking to work with young children in any capacity. She finds it fulfilling to see the dedication that so many people have in their work toward making children's lives better.
At home, Amber's two children, 5 pets, and partner stay happily busy playing volleyball in the backyard, reading, doing all kinds of crafting and home improvement projects.
