I have dedicated over 26 years to working in community colleges, and I am currently employed at the Community College of Aurora, Colorado where I have served since 2023. From my first day as a community college employee, I felt this was the environment where I wanted to build my career. I am inspired by the vibrant student culture, the ongoing commitment to progress, and the supportive atmosphere that welcomes all learners. For the majority of my career, I worked as a classified employee, where I found fulfillment in contributing positively each day. I took pride in my work and found satisfaction in delivering results. Now, in a leadership position, I continue to pursue excellence in my role and have the opportunity to inspire those around me to do the same. I am passionate about my work and proud to be part of the community college system.
