His work focuses on building industry partnerships, securing funding for state-of-the-art equipment, and developing curriculum pathways that align with workforce needs.
With a strong background in technical education, Erick has been instrumental in fostering collaborations with major industry partners such as USA Compression, Warren Cat, Kodiak, and Diamondback, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. His efforts extend to managing dual credit programs, overseeing equipment acquisitions, and coordinating technical presentations that bridge the gap between education and industry.
