Dr. Katie Clarke serves as Assistant Professor of Communication and Co-Director of the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) at Flathead Valley Community College. Last year, the 14-member TLC committee engaged 30 presenters to deliver 31 professional development sessions with over 400 total participations. The committee also successfully revised the TLC's mission, focused programming on instructional strategies and technology, and worked to cultivate a collaborative faculty learning community. Her commitment to teaching excellence is reflected in her FVCC Outstanding Teaching Award from TRIO and her successful leadership as Chairperson of the Whitefish School District Board of Education.
