Abby Littlefield serves as Care Team Director for Communication, Social Sciences, Art and Humanities within the Office of Academic Advising at Wake Technical Community College. She and her team support students pursuing an Associate in Arts and/or Associate in Fine Arts degree who are interested in transferring to a four-year school for a liberal arts related major. In 2019, Abby was honored to receive the first annual Wake Tech Outstanding Academic Advisor of the Year award. Abby has prior experience working in both private and public four-year institutions. Of all her experiences in higher education, the past 13 years working in the community college system have been the most rewarding due to its inclusive mission and diverse culture. Abby has a Bachelor?s degree in Human Communication from Meredith College and a Master?s degree in College Counseling from NC State University. Abby is a native of North Carolina and currently resides in Holly Springs with her husband and two daughters.
