Kerry Sorrentino is currently an Associate Professor of Nursing at Middlesex Community College and an Alumni of Umass Dartmouth - BSN & Framingham State University ? MSN. Kerry has 15 years of ICU/PCU, operating room, and community health nursing experience and is currently teaching Community Health and Advanced Medical Surgical nursing. Kerry was fortunate during her time in these nursing fields to engage in research councils, research publications, Magnet hospital designation work, and staff education as an interim perioperative educator. Kerry is also a Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor and a volunteer member of the Upper Merrimack Valley Medical Reserve Corp. Kerry loves sharing her passion for and knowledge of nursing as well as remaining engaged with her community in the role of a nurse. In her time away from nursing and academia, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, yoga, and playing golf.
