Michelle has been a faculty leader for Early College programming throughout her time at CCC, leading to statewide recruitment efforts with local high schools and as an advisor, a strong advocate for international students. She recognizes that her Introduction to Sociology course is one of the first courses many early college and international students take. Because of this, she makes an extra effort to communicate with her students right away to make sure they understand the process for online learning, assists with CANVAS questions and accommodates various high school schedules. Michelle?s an early adopter of e-textbooks and OER to reduce cost and increase access for all students.
