I am affectionately known by students and colleagues as ?Ms. B? ? has been an integral part of Wake Tech?s Esthetics program since August 2009, and with 18 years in the community college system. I helped build the program from the ground up and has proudly watched more than 400 students successfully graduate. I have embraced professional development opportunities, serving as an EPIC Ambassador for the Cosmetology & Esthetics Department, a Skills USA Esthetics Advisor, and a judge for the Skills Esthetics State competition in 2019. I am also certified in Oncology Esthetics and is a certified member of the National Coalition of Esthetics Association. Received the Excellence in Teaching award for the Business & Public Technology Division for 2022/23 academic year as well as the Excellence in Teaching award for the college in 2022/23. I am highly dedicated to the Cosmetology & Esthetics program and my students. Loving what you do each day, keeps you happy to come to work and it won't feel like a job.
