Suzanne Harbin is a graduate of the University of North Alabama and holds a master?s degree in education. She began her career in the community college system in 1991 with the TRIO program Talent Search as a tutor at Wallace State. She went on to serve as an advisor, and director of that project, and other state and federally funded projects, including a DOL Community Based Job Training Grant. In 2002, she was appointed to the position of Director of Development. Since that time she grew resource development at the college, securing over $80 million dollars in private, local, state and federally funding for Wallace State, including a successful $10 million capital campaign. She currently serves as the Vice President for Advancement and Innovation. In this role she oversees all of the external funding for the college, Center for Career and Workforce Development, Adult Education, Alumni Association, and serves as the Executive Director of the Future Foundation.
