Ashley Francine Tso
Biography:
Ashley Tso she/her/hers, represents the Navajo Nation and Iran. As a Student Affairs Professional of 9 years, Ashley has been working in the field since her transfer days to Haskell Indian Nations University in 2007. Her focus is on student recruitment & outreach, retention, and student success of Indigenous students. She?s advocated in the form of a student organization member & council, as student organization?s advisor, as a mentor, an integrated advisor, and recently as an administrator. She is currently the Enrollment Manager at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute. Ashley holds a master?s degree in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from The University of Kansas; a bachelor?s degree in Indigenous & American Indian Studies from Haskell Indian Nations University; and an associate degree in Social Work from Haskell Indian Nations University. Ashley currently resides in Albuquerque, NM with her son Xander Rei Tso and dog Sunshine Madrid-Tso.
