Todd N Nims
Biography:
Todd Nims is an Instructor at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI), a two-year tribal college, in Albuquerque NM where he teaches a wide variety of courses and serves as advisor to students in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, and Biology. Prior to SIPI, Todd was a science lab supervisor and instructor at Perimeter College in Georgia and a wildlife biologist for both the states of Georgia and Florida. It is important to him that his classes teach real-world skills in addition to knowledge and that students feel free to actively ask and pursue answers to questions. Currently, his courses are creating management plans, answering questions about campus wildlife using trail cameras, and exploring the rich ecosystem inside rodent burrows.
