Dave is currently teaching automotive technology and serving as department chair at De Anza College in Cupertino, California. Under Dave's leadership, the Automotive Technology Department created a series of noncredit classes beginning in fall 2018, specifically designed for life-long learners and underserved populations. The department recently received approval from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to offer a baccalaureate degree in automotive technology management, which will allow auto tech students to continue their education and create more career opportunities in management. This degree also provides an affordable educational opportunity for students who otherwise may not have been able to afford such a degree. The Automotive Technology Department continues to provide mentorship and development opportunities for former students who show an interest in teaching and the department is looking forward to many years of student success.
