Dr. Jen Cumpston is a proven academic leader with extensive experience in the Illinois Community College System. Currently serving as Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) at College of DuPage, she leads a division of nearly 300 faculty and staff. She has built a reputation for fostering innovation, operational excellence, and a collaborative, student-centered culture. Jen brings a rare combination of teaching expertise and administrative leadership. Her academic foundation includes a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Student Personnel Services, an MBA, and an M.S. in Geology. She has served as a tenured faculty member, department chair, and dean, and has led major initiatives in curriculum development, assessment, equity, and student success.
