Corey Hatt is the State Director of the Nebraska Math Readiness Project. Corey has successfully launched and lead this innovative project as an early intervention for high school students to build skills and prerequisites needed to be successful in college level mathematics. This project impacts all community college service regions within the state of Nebraska. This project has included public and private high schools of all sizes. The results are exceeding national benchmarks in the area of preparing students to reach college math competencies prior to high school graduation and in the area of project student post-secondary success. In this 2022 - 2023 academic year, Corey is working with 67 schools across Nebraska, with a high school student population of over 900.
