I am the faculty coordinator for the Bachelors of Computer Science program at North Seattle College. I spent 6 years working in industry in the telecommunications domain as a data scientist back when data science was just a buzzword everyone found mysterious and exciting. I chose to go into teaching full time in 2019 and have taught at Seattle University's Albers School of Business in their Business Analytics department and now have been with North Seattle College for four years. I earned my Masters of Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University in 2016 and have been working on my PhD in Computer Science from the same University since 2020, now ABD. I have a family of a nerdy partner like me and two furbabies, Yuna and Yoshi. I love to learn new things, try new video games and tabletop games, exercise, eat well and explore nature.
