Nancy Perry
Biography:
Nancy Perry is the founding & current Director of the Associate Degree Nursing program at Carroll Community College, as well as the Chair of the Allied Health Division. Dr. Perry began her career in nursing at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, where she held several positions including staff nurse, Nurse Manager, and Director of Patient Care Services. She has been active in statewide organizations to promote associate degree nursing and academic progression. She is currently the President of the Maryland Organization for Associate Degree nursing. Dr. Perry previously served as a Board member for the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN). She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Nurses Association; Maryland Nurses Association; Maryland Council of Deans and Directors of Associate Degree and Baccalaureate Nursing Programs; National League of Nursing; and Sigma Theta Tau, Honor Society of Nursing, Pi (University of Maryland) Chapter. Dr. Perry completed her bachelor?s degree at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, now Notre Dame of Maryland University; her master?s degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore; and her Doctor of Nursing practice degree at Duquesne University.
