The SUCCESS Scholars Program: A Mentorship for Diverse Populations

The SUCCESS Scholars Program aligns with Middlesex Community College's strategic focus on diversity and equity by providing specialized supports and resources to underserved students, including Asian American, Black, African American, Latinx, and LGBTQ+. The program addresses inequities in access and success that students often face in higher education. By providing guidance and mentorship tailored to their unique needs, the SUCCESS Scholars Program promotes equitable outcomes for students while creating an inclusive environment, thus fostering a sense of belonging. Through the SUCCESS Scholars Program, we enable all students to thrive in college regardless of their background or identity. There is strong evidence tnat the SUCCESS Scholars Mentors are making a difference in student success.
