Health Careers Access

Health Careers Access (HC Access) is a database application that utilizes existing enterprise resources—Banner, Argos, One Record, and Degree Works—to aid students seeking to enter into one of 30+ health career programs offered at Tri-C. Students receive automated emails when their checklist of prerequisite coursework is updated (i.e., grades roll), placement test results are entered, or college transcripts are received and evaluated. This new automated process eliminates manual data entry that had been completed by Health Careers Enrollment Center staff. HC Access already has over 8,000 records and is proactively communicating with students. Program staff have real-time access to information and are able to answer questions posed by students interested in their programs of study.
