May 2025 League Publications Highlight Equity, Engagement, and Innovation

The League for Innovation has unveiled its May 2025 issues of Leadership Abstracts, Learning Abstracts, and Innovation Showcase, each spotlighting transformative community college initiatives.
Leadership Abstracts. In “Middlesex Community College: Centering Equity at Its Core,” authors Philip Sisson, Arlene Rodríguez, Matthew Olson, and Noreen McGinness Olson discuss the college's commitment to embedding equity throughout its operations. They detail strategies such as inclusive curriculum design, comprehensive faculty development, and community engagement efforts aimed at fostering an equitable educational environment. Seth Vander Tuig's “A PEAK Into Tracking Student Engagement at Kirkwood Community College” explores the development and impact of the Platform for Engagement & Activities at Kirkwood (PEAK).
