Dr. Sirangelo is a Registered Professional Nurse with clinical, education, and administrative experience. She oversees the School of Nursing and Health Professions at Hudson County Community College, and has worked in higher education for over 20 years. Dr. Sirangelo has dedicated her career to providing patient care as a Registered Nurse, and to educating and training women and men to serve in the nursing and health-related fields. Prior to being named HCCC Dean of Nursing and Health Professions, she served as the HCCC Director of Health-Related Programs. Earlier in her career, Dr. Sirangelo served as Vice President of Management Services, and as Director of Education at Franciscan Health System of New Jersey. She was also Education Coordinator at St. Francis Hospital; Senior Instructor at St. Francis School of Nursing; Clinical Coordinator at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Intensive Care Unit (ICU); and Staff Nurse at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
