Biography:
Angela Tuzzo has served Hudson County Community College for many years in multiple departments which Include serving as an Adjunct instructor for the ESL and Developmental Reading and Writing, Speech for the Humanities and Social Sciences and Instructor of FYE Student Success courses since 2012. Angela is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. She is the Associate Director for Student Life and Leadership of Hudson County Community College. Her role focuses on empowerment programs, leadership development and civic engagement opportunities. Angela has over 21 years working in Higher Education. She holds Bachelor of Arts, Psychology Degree from New Jersey City University, a Master's in Education Degree and a Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Saint Peter?s University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Family, Humility, Empathy, Integrity, Growth and Resiliency are the core of her leadership styles. Angela is passionate about serving others and most importantly helping all students of diverse background's achieve academic, personal growth, and professional success. Angela?s personal philosophy includes learning new skills and keeping up with changing trends that allow her to share her knowledge with others. Throughout her years in higher education, Angela has embellished herself from the many amazing mentors and people who championed her personal and professional accomplishments. She leads with the heart, challenges the status quo and dedicates most of her time leading the way and paying it forward!
