Biography:
Today?s progressive College?s requires exceptional campus safety departments with Leaders who possess a unique blend of leadership, vision, broad-based experience, and the ability to deliver superior community safety results. Throughout my career I have utilized my leadership, planning, and managerial skills to consistently be a top performer while reducing costs and driving satisfaction. ? Lead all components of Public Safety for Central Ohio Technical College and Ohio State Universities 5 regional campuses in 7 different counties, by effectively working with other police and fire agencies to ensure safe campuses. ? With over 20 commissioned and non-commissioned staff, supporting a student population that changes twice a year I focus on engagement and support of students, staff and faculty. ? In depth knowledge of Clery Act reporting requirements, Title IX handling and investigations and interacting with a diverse student populations and a polarizing time. ? As an Ohio Peace Officer Training Instructor and Academy Commander, I believe staff development is the most important part of servicing a community. Coaching, training and mentoring are key components of law enforcement leadership. ? Currently serve on the Executive Leadership Board for the Ohio Association of Police Chief's Police Executive Leadership College.
