Virginia began her career as a librarian in 2017 at Allen Community College beginning as a Library Support Specialist. She received her MLIS from San Jose State University in 2018 and in 2019 she became the Director of the Library at Allen. She is a member of multiple library associations and various library councils and committees. She has served on the board of many of those committees and councils as secretary, chair, or president. Virginia strives to help students succeed in college and life. As part of that, she helped found and now runs a campus food and necessity pantry for students. In her spare time, Virginia enjoys spending time with family and a book is never far from hand.
